Anthony De Guzman’s Seibon Carbon equipped 1993 Toyota Supra didn’t always look like the award-winning, magazine cover car you see here. On the contrary, his build started off as a blue, beat up Supra he found on Kijiji. The car had a terrible body kit and low compression motor; it’s safe to say that Anthony had his work cut out for him.

The Supra’s condition didn’t scare Anthony. He’s been building cars since he was 17! It all started with a 2002 Toyota Celica that he and his twin brother bought and modified. After its successful completion, the Celica was featured in PASMAG’s June 2004 issue. Fast forward to October 2008 and Anthony was back on PASMAG with his beastly twin-turbo Infiniti G35.

Within a few weeks of taking ownership of the Supra, Anthony got rid of the old body kit and changed the car’s paint to a mixture of Lamborghini Balloon White and Lexus Starfire Pearl. Soon after that, the 2JZ got a Boost Logic Stage 3 single turbo kit, taking the Supra to just over 700 horsepower.

The game changed when Anthony came across PASMAG’s “Tuner Battlegrounds” competition. With just two weeks before the deadline, Anthony registered for the competition.

With the support from friends, family and colleagues, De Guzman dominated his way through the ranks of the TBG Championship competition, taking on everything from Civics to GT-Rs. He had finally met his match in Vegas at SEMA when he came face-to-face with Moses Awad’s carbon fiberclad 370Z.
