SEIBON Carbon specialises in the design and manufacture of high-quality carbon fibre
automotive body components such as Bonnet, Boot, Guards, and aerodynamic body
additions such as rear spoilers and side skirts. Seibon was founded by genuine automotive
aficionados in the United States, and debuted in the automotive aftermarket industry in
2003. Seibon products are stylish and functional. Everything is made from deluxe French
or US-made carbon fibre, and is rigorously-inspected during a multiple-step quality control
process. Seibon’s in-house design team introduces and maintains proprietary designs for a
wide and growing variety of sport compact applications.
SEIBON Carbon components have been featured in television shows, in movies, at racing
events, on magazine covers, and at national and regional auto shows worldwide. More
importantly, SEIBON carbon fibre parts continue to be demanded by knowledgeable
enthusiasts on all five continents. With active dealers located in the United States, Canada,
the United Kingdom, Korea, Greece, Russia, Switzerland, Dubai, Singapore, among others,
we compete successfully on a global basis.
Seibon Australia was established in 2012 under a partnership between Seibon Carbon USA
and Maximum Motorsports of Australia. Maximum Motorsport was a collaboration between
Rob Herridge and Steve Wisby that dates back to 1993. The partnership having brought
together two of the most experienced motorsport professionals in Western Australia. Rob
has a long history in rallying and an enviable reputation as twice Australian Rally Champion
and five times State Champion. Steve having more than 25 years’ experience in the industry
and worked for several high profile motorsport teams including Glenn Seton Racing.
Over the past 19 years Maximum Motorsport has had successful contracts with
manufacturers such as Kia Motors Korea, Subaru Australia and Hyundai Automotive
Distributors Australia. Maximum Motorsport proved itself once again at being at the
forefront of Australian rallying by successfully campaigning Rob’s son Dean to the Australian
Privateer Championship in 2000. This result and many years’ worth of hard work have seen
Dean retain contracts with Subaru Australia since 2001.
The team again enjoyed success in the Australian Championship with Dean in 2006 and 2007
by taking on the factory teams. During this time Maximum Motorsport won the Privateers
Championship, won events outright and even scored WRC points at Rally Australia. In the
past couple of years Dean and the team have successfully campaigned the new model
Subaru Impreza WRX STI in tarmac events and have scored several podium results and won
the 2011 Australian Targa Championship.
